LONDON PRIDE | 8TH JUNE 2017

My first ever pride! I have been out since 2013, it is now 2017 and I have finally experienced going to pride. It was honestly one of the best days of my life, I am bursting with happiness. I have never felt so happy, accepted and safe. The vibe was amazing, that's what I was looking forward to most, having that happy atmosphere. The world has been through a lot lately and to see everyone come together was amazing.

I took my mum to my first ever pride, which was also her first ever pride. She had such a good day and it was lovely to have her with me. She wanted a pride t-shirt for her birthday which I got her and also requested I had to put glitter on her face for pride. We took some pictures before we left of course. Most of this post will be photos as I have SO many to share!!

Once we got into London we went to Trafalgar Square, we both donated £3 each and got a pride wristband. They had a bag of freebies going to of course we had those. I also bought a Starbucks pride pin and a gay lego keyring and mum got a rainbow garland to wear. They gave out some freebies during the parade too, thanks for the sweets Tesco!

They sold these rainbow crayon things if you wanted to put a rainbow on your face, they then came around during the parade so it's fair to say my arms were rainbow-fied.

PARADE TIME! I got so many amazing photos. I actually forgot to take my camera so all these photos were taken on my iPhone 6, and if I do say so myself they're pretty good. Enjoy!!

I unfortunately missed some of the last parade walkers, and gutted to have missed the Disney one! But I had such an amazing time and I will definitely be going again. Next I have Brighton pride which I am even more excited for now. Thank you so much for reading this blog post!

Hi guys! I know I said I'd only be uploading on Sundays but here is an extra blog post this week. As there are many prides still coming up over the next 2 months I have been practising some eye looks. I have never been to pride myself and I was gutted I couldn't go last year, so this week I am going to London pride with my mum. In August I am going to Brighton pride with my girlfriend and my best friend, and I cannot wait.

I just want to say in no way am I great at makeup, I do try my best so the looks I've done probably aren't perfect to those who are extremely talented at it. I feel I've done a good job though and I am proud of the looks I have done. All products I used I will post at the end including links.

So for my first look, I wasn't sure where I was going with it, but I ended up loving how it turned out. I wanted to use bold bright colours for these looks. I went with a yellow, pink and blue with some glitter of course. I haven't used a glitter eyeliner since I was a kid, so I really enjoyed adding this to my look, the dots are my favourite. Let me know what you think.

My second look is my favourite, this one screams pride and I love it. If you're gonna go to pride you might as well go all out. This is definitely the look I am going to wear this week. Usually my eye shadow looks are symmetrical so doing different colours on both eyelids was very strange, but it works.

If you want to go all out you could even add some glitter. I am still undecided which glitter I want to wear, I have a load of glitter pots so I have a lot of choice!

I got this Unicorns Heart highlighter and its a freaking rainbow. The picture below is all the glitter pots I have, as you can see it's made me so indecisive on which one to pick.

Products I used:

  • Morphe Palette 35C | £22

(Mine has 9 colours and I couldn't find it online so here's an even better palette with so many more colours)
  • Collection Glam Crystals Gel Eyeliner - £2.99
  • They're Real! Benefit Mascara - £20.50
(I had a mini tester but I'll probably use another brand once it runs out)
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade - £15
  • I Heart Makeup Unicorns Heart Highlighter - £5
  • Glam Liner Aqua Luxe Collection - £6
  • Glitter Pots - £1.75 or buy 3 get 3 free

I hope you guys like my pride looks. Let me know what you think of them, if you've done a pride look blog post I would love to see it. Thank you for reading!

On Thursday 29th June 2017 I got to see a LEGEND. I was lucky enough to get tickets to see Adele at Wembley stadium at her finale shows. I don't know if she will tour again so this concert was even more special. I took a mixture of pictures from my phone to my camera which I can't wait to share with you all! On friday I will be uploading a vlog me and my girlfriend filmed, so that'll be up at 5pm this friday over at ShannonAndAbbie on Youtube.

I had a short shift at work, quickly went home to get changed and put on some makeup, then we set off to London! We met my best friend at Covent Garden as we were going to Frankie & Bennies for some dinner. I had garlic doughballs for starter, then spaghetti pomodoro and a side of fries for my main which was delicious as always. We then made our way to Wembley!!! Taigan literally fell onto a crowd of people on the tube as we were rushing to get onto it, and we could not stop laughing, this was just the beginning of the bad luck to come.

We just about made it into the venue in time, we probably got to our seats around 7.55pm, Adele was due on at 8pm but she actually came on stage around 8.15pm. Our seats were so good! We were so happy with our seats, although we were at the top we was right in the middle so we had such a good view of the stage. For Beyonce the stage was one end and we was at the other end so this was so much better.

Adele looked amazing, she had such a beautiful dress on. She of course started the show with "Hello". I still couldn't believe I was seeing her on stage, THE Adele was on stage infront of me. She sung lots of songs from her album 25, but also some classics like Someone like you and Rolling in the deep.

Adele wasn't feeling 100%, she had 2 cups of honey during her show to help her throat, little did we know that the next day she had to cancel her next 2 shows at Wembley. I couldn't believe it when I saw, we got so lucky we even got to see her, I was supposed to see Selena Gomez in November and she cancelled due to her lupus, and then I was supposed to see Ariana Grande in March but she cancelled due to the terrorist attack. So I was paranoid she would cancel as these things normally come in 3's.  I really hope she gets better soon and manages to reschedule the last 2 finale shows. The venue seats 98,000 and they were both sold out which is crazy. What's even crazier is how amazing she sounded even though she wasn't well.

An amazing concert I will never forget!
